Acupuncture can restore proper energy flow to any areas of the body that might be experiencing pain or discomfort. It also increases circulation which can basically revitalize any area that has been lacking.
With muscle tension, we can use needles but there’s also other instruments that we can use to sort of relax a muscle. We can use cupping which is basically suction on muscle groups that allow the muscle and the skin to be pulled apart so that any blood or fluid that’s been stuck in that area can be lifted to the surface and carried away by the lymphatic system. We can use Gua Sha tools which are basically very gentle scraping methods which allow also to have circulation move more effectively through the area.
Through acupuncture, we can restore the balance of energy that should always be present in a properly functioning muscular area of the body.
